Cross
A close-up of one of the previous prints This shows the red-tip detail a bit better... combining the Fleur-de-lis and the tab...
It also shows the latest Crusader cross design... where the 4 smaller crosses are separate...
Cross designs
I feel that I need to improve the design of my crusader crosses... so I started doodling and scribbling, using srectangula stones and looking for inter-relationships, which is when some hearts appeared...

New edition of Medals
These prints were done on paper using the remnants/off-cuts of previously used prints. When printing onto foil, not all the pigment is transferred. I decided to print the remnants onto paper. It produces very interesting texture.
This edition is of a crusader cross. The photo has to be taken with the light and the reflection kept in mind.

Crusader Cross medals
Crusader crosses.
Here I have used a slightly larger format (15x10) so that the prints will fit in the photo album I'm using to store them... and to give me more space at the bottom - which is so intimidating to write in....
It is the first time using the silver side of the foil... because it had some adhesive stuck to the other side! and I think it has a more steely look/feel to it... a nice characteristic to have available when trying to describe someone..

Crusader Medals
Crusader medals done to experiment with the different colours: matt black, shiny black (which looks messy), navy blue (which looks black) and green (which looks interesting - why have I not tried the yellow?)...

Crusader cross on foil
I just thought that this was a 'logical' development... enforcing the metallic connection between the cross/pendant/medal/foil.... I like the way the prints overlap the foil... it somehow makes it more of a whole object than a print...
I just wish I had more space at the bottom, to add a title ("Crusader") and date and signature... so I've put them on the back...
