Red ... :-)

Various red coloured emroidery cottons to use in my jeweles for the exhibition. 'Gules' is an heraldic term for 'red'.

It also shows the latest Crusader cross design... where the 4 smaller crosses are separate...

Medals based on first idea

This edition revisits the original idea of using the red tip that shows where to peel the foil on a champagne bottle... I had run out of 'nice' foil so I used the original foils from when we used to drink more champagne... we now drink more red wine, which does not have the same golden-type foil... I think I should look for more foils to use underneath... more foil and more types of foil...

I am printing more editions so I can send a wide range of prints for Margie, of Africa Nove, to see for stock...

With medal?

I'm looking for a connection between the kiepersol and the medals.

I like the way the little fleur-de-lis (need to find a better name) fits into the leaf... that seems to be the connection. The shapely voluptuous bottom leaf has a sting and a royal (as in princessly - from princely) connotation.... (for me?)

How can one reward someone for being good with (perceived) malice?...

Red tipped kiepersol

Mboss? Wondering about embossing over the foil... The red piece is what started this whole foiling/embossing trip... Now I've managed to do it easily..

I think it is amazing how the red tip has found its way to the kiepersol... quite naturally in retrospect, as the kiepersol leaves have very voluptuous shapes with all the required connotations ... This is as a result of a very intense discussion I had with M about the need (of males?) for closure by closing/filling the gap and becoming whole in the process... so much more than just sex...
