What is it with Jasmine?

Young Jasmine leaves

I use objects from my surroundings as reference for my design process.

There is something about this configuration of leaves that resonates with me. It could be the long prominent leaf at the bottom that 'comes out' of the  horizontal leaves above, and it is a bit phallocentric...

It also has a figurative feel to it, almost looking like a person - quite anthropomorphic.

Something else I lik eis the way it looks a bit like a cross; I have a thing for crosses

A useful font

I need to develop a font that I can use for the embossing. It must not have bits that will fall out when I pierce them out. I quickly scribbled one here on my folder while I was waiting for something to download or open. I often do creative things while I wait for something to print or download or boil. See how some of the letters don't have closed bodies, like the bottom of the 'b' and the top of the 'd'.

New idea

Lots of strands coming together...

The jasmine leaf, the recycled cold drink can, embossing and the rubber  strip (Albeit for its material property rather than its look)

I Iwas intrigued by the Jasmine plant I could see from the bathroom window in the mornings.
