Crusader crosses

Cross and fdl...

'Scratched' crusader cross pins made from upcycled Guinness cans. The bits at the bottom are derived from Fleur-de-lis and are cast in silver and blackened.

Fleur-de-Lis display

On tan page...

Trying to see what a 'female' piece of jewellery looks like on a 'male' piece of paper.

Cross

A close-up of one of the previous prints This shows the red-tip detail a bit better... combining the Fleur-de-lis and the tab...

It also shows the latest Crusader cross design... where the 4 smaller crosses are separate...

K.sol

With medal?

I'm looking for a connection between the kiepersol and the medals.

I like the way the little fleur-de-lis (need to find a better name) fits into the leaf... that seems to be the connection. The shapely voluptuous bottom leaf has a sting and a royal (as in princessly - from princely) connotation.... (for me?)

How can one reward someone for being good with (perceived) malice?...

Cameo

Casting about...

I am trying lots of things here, because I'm not sure what to do next. I am combining embossings with prints... a kiepersol embossing (relief) with a fleur-de-lis (intaglio) and a silver cameo on top...

Just doing something to see what comes out... so the next posts should show what stuck... in a good way...

New fleur-de-lis/heart?

New fleur de lis...?

I quite like the ambivalence of this shape ... the fact that there are almost 2 balls at the top... Wonder of there is a way to use it as a heart?
