D'fly mboss

I like this one... There's a story here... But where is it?... In my head?...

The story has to do with the way I arrange the plates for the embossing and the fact that I know that the center piece was pierced out and there is a piece of plate missing. So the bits that are left will not fit together, but they do look like they ought to...

The other factor is the way that I am evaluating the embossing from, what would normally be considered, the back...

Here I am trying to tell a story.... probably about how the dragonfly (shape) emerges from the cut out shapes that form it... I did not know what to make of it at the time, but I think that the one on the left looks/feels better... Maybe the d'fly at the top should be reversed? I can only think this because I am writing this after I looked reverse embossings done later...

Dragonfly... Piercing out a dragonfly so that I can have the 'remnants' the pieces around the object, with which to frame/show the shape that I am actually working with. And then playing around, re-arranging the pieces in an interesting way, in a way that 'tells a story'.... in this case of emrging, growing, developing, coming out of.....
