Silver birds morphing into fleur-de-lis type coupling devices... you know, the little bits that hold the bigger bits together... all displayed on logarithmic tables.

Is it apparent that the image is made up of separate pieces around the face... The surrounding pieces define the face... Is that not how one is defined? by what goes on around you? or is it just women?

This is the first set of prints. The idea is to do a set at a time, so I can date them and put them in a photo album for storage.

I quite like the ordering and organising process... it adds a lot of thought to what one is doing. You need to get ready and prepare... It is a bit like a campaign... Is that maybe how one should approach a woman... as a campaign?

Medal print - Jane Eyre

On new? Paper ... This is my first Jane Eyre print...
The paper is a page from the book... I realised that I had some 'nice' paper right under my nose, and it was the right size for the display frames I'd had made..

I felt so guilty tearing pages from a book (good Calvinistic? upbringing) that I decide I was only allowed to tear the pages out if I'd read them. I am now on page 102 and enjoying it a lot. In the process I am finding several wonderful sentences/quotes/words... like 'convolvuli...'
